Newborn Care Specialist Training&Certification

Do you enjoy working with newborns? Do you want to train to become a Certified Newborn Care Specialist (baby nurse)?

Class is scheduled for February 25 and 26 2012, 4-5 hours per day to make it convenient!! 11-3:30 both days.

A CNCS is extensively trained to
Educate and support parents
Take over complete care of newborn
Soothe newborn using skilled and proven techniques
Recognizing potential issues and concerns that may arise during newborn care
Assist mothers with the facilitation of breastfeeding
Breastmilk and formula handling and storage
Recognizing and treating different ailments, rashes, etc
How to handle reflux and colic
Preemie care
Care of multiples (twins,triplets,quads,etc)

A CNCS salary ranges from $20-40/hr, depending on location and # of newborns.
