We are looking for someone to help us care for our toddlers, 3yo son and 4.5yo daughter, ideally M-F primarily before and after pre-school starting by May 1. We live in Cole Valley and have a loving, warm, active family that also includes an elderly Labrador retriever and two cats. Responsibilities would include helping get kids ready for pre-school, walking kids to and from school and playing with them in the afternoons. Also help with food preparation/cooking, laundry, household tidying, and restocking basic groceries (ie. milk, bread, produce) will be super-helpful! Someone who can drive and who is interested in sticking with a family over-time to when the kids start elementary school would be wonderful. Hours and days are negotiable and could vary day to day, but anticipate something like 7-9am and 2-6pm Mondays-Fridays.

I am looking for queer or queer-friendly improvisers (or wannabe improvisers) to get together for regular improv jams.

Why queer improv? I dunno. Because I like improv and queers. But seriously… I am a recently out gay man who has been doing improv for the past few years. Unfortunately, the improv community I am a part of is not particularly queer and I want to find a way to combine these two worlds of mine.

If we get critical mass, I can rent a space, structure the jam/rehearsal, and provide some basic improv training for beginners. Long-term, it would be great to do some performances, but the most important thing for me is having a fun, safe space to improvise. I am looking for experienced improv-partners-in-crime to total newbies.

Improv is always fun, sometimes healing, and is ready for a queer take-over!
